  • Where are Course Downloads, i.e. Excel exercise files and PDFs, found?

    If an online course offers downloadable exercise files such as Excel models, you'll find these files in an early lesson in the course, typically titled "Course Downloads."

  • I'm enrolled in a Wharton Online & Wall Street Prep Certificate Program and cannot access the program when I log in.

    If you're enrolled in a Wharton Online & Wall Street Prep Certificate Program, you can access the Wharton Online platform in one of 2 ways:

    • Wharton Online users who do not also have a Wall Street Prep account will be taken directly to the Wharton Online Certificate Program on login.

    • Wharton Online users who ALSO have a Wall Street Prep account will be directed to an Account Switcher page on login, where they can choose which platform/program to log into.

    If you are enrolled in a Wharton Online & Wall Street Prep program and do not see an Account Switcher page and are not taken directly to the program on login, please try the following:

    • Log out and then logging back in. This often resolves the issue by refreshing your access permissions.

    • When in the Wall Street Prep platform, hover over the user dropdown in the top left of the site's navigation bar. Those enrolled in a Wharton Online program will see a "Switch Account" option here.

    • Verify that the email you're using to sign into the program is the same email you used to purchase enrollment in the Wharton Online program.

    If the above steps do not solve the problem, please contact support for further assistance.

  • Wall Street Prep course access through your university or employer/company

    If you previously had or currently have access to Wall Street Prep courses through your employer or university and are now unable to see these courses when you log in, please contact support for assistance. It’s important to note that some employer and university subscriptions may expire after a certain period, which could affect your access. Our support team can help you verify your account status and resolve any issues with accessing your courses.

  • I was in the middle of taking an exam and experienced an error. Can I get back into the exam?

    If you encounter an error or interruption during your exam, simply log back into the exam to continue. The exam system is designed to save your progress, so you’ll be able to pick up exactly where you left off. Additionally, if you lose your internet connection while taking the exam, don’t worry—once you reconnect and access the exam again, you’ll be taken back to the question you were on when the connection was last active. This ensures that you can complete your exam without losing any progress.

  • Is the LBO Modeling course in the Premium Package the same course that's in the Private Equity Masterclass?

    Yes, the LBO Modeling module in both courses is the same. If you purchase the Premium Package first and then later want to purchase the PE Masterclass make sure you're logged into the system. The system will automatically prorate the purchase price of the PE course due to the overlap.

  • Does Wall Street Prep have a refer a friend program? Where can I find my personal referral link?

    Wall Street Prep does have a Refer-a-Friend program. All logged-in Wall Street Prep learners can access their referral link by clicking to the "My Rewards" page. This link is found in the User dropdown menu in the top right corner of the site's navigation bar.

  • Does enrollment in a live virtual event such as a Wall Street Prep Boot Camp or Power Session come with online course access?

    Some Wall Street Prep live virtual Boot Camps and live virtual Power Sessions come with access to one or more Wall Street Prep online course(s). If you've enrolled in live virtual program with online course access, you will be emailed login instructions to the Wall Street Prep learning platform directly after enrollment.

  • How do I access my 1-month free Pitchbook trial after purchasing the WSP Premium Package?

    Please click on "Create An Account" to receive your 1-month Pitchbook trial. Once you create your Pitchbook account via their website, login with your username and password, and the system should allow you to access the free trial immediately.

  • Why is the amount charged to my payment method different from the price listed on the Wall Street Prep website?

    The pricing on the Wall Street Prep website and order receipts are in USD. If you're outside of the U.S., you may see a difference on your payment method's statement due to currency conversion rates. Currency conversion rates can fluctuate, meaning the amount charged at the time of purchase may vary slightly from what was displayed. In addition, some banks or card issuers may charge additional fees for international transactions. We recommend contacting your payment provider for details on any additional charges.

  • Can you share one login for studying WSP materials, and can two logins work concurrently?

    No, the courses are single-user only. We are not able to create or allow you to use 2 logins for 1 account, concurrently.

  • I am in an MBA Program and have access to Wall Street Prep through my university or finance club. Which email should I use to access my courses?

    Typically, if you are enrolled in an MBA program or another program through your university, your account will be accessed by logging in with your school email.

  • Are live virtual events such as the Financial & Valuation Modeling Boot Camp recorded via Zoom?

    Yes, live virtual courses and events such as Boot Camps and Power Sessions are recorded so attendees can revisit concepts covered after the fact. A recording link and password we be sent after the event once the recording has been processed and uploaded.

  • When I complete a course and receive my certificate, can I embed it onto my LinkedIn?

    Yes, there are instructions when you receive your certificate, indicating whether or not you'd like to add it to your profile or share the accomplishment with others. Wall Street Prep partners with Accredible, which is the server that collects certificates and keeps them organized for you to use.

  • What to do if your course shows as 'viewed' after exam completion?

    This usually means in order to receive your certificate; you must pass the exam with a score of 80% (usual passing score for exams) or higher. Once you successfully complete the exam, the course status will change in the learning portal. Ultimately, it usually means that you have not passed an exam in the module.

  • I purchased the Red Book/Blue Book but cannot find it.

    You will find the PDF e-book portion of these courses by clicking the "My Books" menu item in the left navigation section of the learning portal. If you've purchased one of these courses and do not see a "My Books" menu item, please log out and back in to the the platform.

  • If I purchase the Basic Package, will I be able to upgrade to the Premium Package?

    You can enroll in the Basic Package first and later upgrade to the Premium Package. The cost is simply the $299 difference. Upon enrollment in the Basic Package, you’ll receive a link to the Premium Package upgrade page.

  • What is the difference between the Premium and the Basic Package?
    • The Basic Package covers financial statement modeling and Excel best practices. It does not cover transactional modeling, such as LBO, and Mergers and Acquisitions modeling. Furthermore, it does not cover valuation modeling, such as DCF or comparable company analysis, or comparable transaction analysis.

    • The Premium Package includes all topics covered in the Basic Package, plus: DCF modeling, Comparable company analysis, Comparable transaction analysis, LBO Modeling, M&A Modeling and Advanced Accounting Topics.

  • Why didn't I receive my certificate?

    Please ask our AI Agent for the passing score of the course for which you didn't receive a certificate. If you have received enough points to pass the course, or if you need additional exam attempts, please click the button to submit a ticket to our support team:

  • I'm taking an online exam and I cannot find the Excel file or PDF file referenced in the exam question.

    Please note, if you're having an issue with the "Excel Workbook Offline Exam," (only applicable if you have access through a university of employer) please see this help article.

    If you're taking an online exam, some online exam questions reference downloadable Excel files, PDFs and other files. In most cases, if an exam question references a file you need to download, the download link will be provided in that question.

    In some cases you may be asked on the exam's start screen to download an Excel Workbook file before starting the exam. If you've started an exam and did not download the file as instructed, no worries. Simply exit the exam and restart it. You will be taken back to the Start screen and can download the file from there. When you start the exam again, you will be taken to the last question you answered.

  • Why are there two Trading Comps Modeling courses?

    Our learning team released an updated version on the Trading Comps course, since you were an existing user, you now have access to both.

    • The course with the "Previous Case Study" tag is the older legacy version.

    • The course version without the tag is the new updated version of the course.

    You will only need to complete one of them for the certification, it does not matter which.

  • How do I get my certificate?

    Upon successful completion of the course exam, you will be emailed a copy of your certificate.

  • Do Wall Street Prep courses qualify for CPE credits?

    Most courses do qualify for CPE credits through NASBA:

  • How do I get access to the Boost Add-In or Macabacus plugin?

    Wall Street Prep no longer offers trial access to Excel productivity plugins, and they are not needed in order to complete any Wall Street Prep courses. The Boost plugin itself has been discontinued.

  • What is your refund policy?

    For our online self-study courses, we have a 30-day money back policy. If the product that you purchased is not what you were expecting, as long as you request a refund within 30-days of your purchase we will be happy to provide you with a full refund to your original payment method. This policy can be found on our website.

  • How long do I have access to my courses? Does course access expire?

    Course access and expiration depends on whether you've purchased a course or have access through an employer, university or other organization.

    • If you purchase a Wall Street Prep course, you will have lifetime access to that course. Access will not expire.

    • If you have access to Wall Street Prep learning content through an employer, university, finance club, etc, duration of access can vary. The typical access duration is one year. Please check with your organization's learning administrator for more information.
